Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival postcard sent to over 900,000 Annual Passholders. Plus, a basketball playbill given out to thousands of Orlando Magic fans over three games.

Annual Passholders are already familiar with Disney's yearly festivals. To make this direct mail piece stand out, we printed it on plantable wildflower seed paper.

Basketball fans aren't the likeliest bunch to attend a Flower & Garden festival. I bridged these two worlds by speaking the language of basketball.

WHY:

Each year, the Walt Disney Company hosts a celebratory Grad Nite for high school seniors. We were tasked with creating materials for display in schools that would convince students and administrators alike to visit the 2017 event.

WHAT:

Infographic detailing the horrific drug epidemic taking place in Ohio.

WHY:

The number of lives lost to opioids in Ohio is staggering. To illustrate just how severe this problem is, we created tourist information for a fake village, Overdose, OH, and used real overdose data to supplement the town’s statistics. The faux cheerfulness further highlights the macabre setting.

WHY:

Style By Choice. Protective By Design.

Most potential consumers associate OtterBox with one thing: tough and bulky cases. This banner challenges this preconception by introducing fashion-forward customers to a designer-inspired case line.

Made to Make the Grade.

Back to School ads usually suffer from JCPenny syndrome—too much fluff and the same thing year after year. 'Made to Make the Grade' plays off the school element while laddering the messaging up to the superior protection factor of OtterBox cases.

Downtime is Temporary.

Broken Phones are Forever.

This banner only appears on the homepage during scheduled maintenance. Though it will not be seen often, the intent is to create a memorable, yet informative, message that deviates from the standard apologetic messaging that pops up during other webpages' downtime.

WHAT:

OtterBox Resurgence charging station activation within Denver International Airport. 

WHY:

This experiential installation functions as both an educational tool for Resurgence charging cases and as a place for travelers to charge their devices. I use humorous copy on the individual placards, gently poking fun at visitors for being the sterotypical outlet campers we all become during our travels. The solution to one's dead-battery woes and constant search for a free outlet in a busy airport: OtterBox Resurgence Power Case. 

This Denver International Airport activation is seen and used by thousands of travelers daily, and has resulted in hundreds of Resurgence case sales within the airport.

Smartphone drop statistics infographic featured on OtterBox 'Broken Phone' microwebsite.

WHY:

Brokenphone.com is a social media website that educates visitors on how likely they are to break there phones, and which phone case matches their lifestyle. We decided on an irreverent approach to this infographic—I took real phone statistics and spun them in a hilarious direction to attract the attention of a younger, social media-minded audience.

OtterBox Holiday 2015 campaign concept and copy for Amazon banners.

WHY:

This campaign gave me full creative freedom to craft the direction for OtterBox Holiday 2015 banners on Amazon.com. The overarching messaging, 'Give. Get. Protect.' encourages Amazon shoppers to protect the technology they receive, or gift to others, during the holiday season.

WHY:

The product description page is the closest direct-to-consumer touchpoint on the OtterBox site. These product descriptions are equal parts creative and educational to inform consumer's purchases.

Email newsletter copy and banner appearing on LifeProof.com homepage during maintenance. Plus, announcements of cases for Motorola DROID Maxx 2 and DROID Turbo 2 and a Samsung Galaxy S6 social media sweepstakes.

WHY:

No Less Than Limitless

The action-packed headline sets the stage for this LifeProof newsletter introducing new cases for Motorola DROID Turbo 2 and Maxx 2. The copy is intended to be clean and concise, driving readers to the call to action below.

LifeProof is Offline. You Should Be Too.

This banner only appears on the homepage during scheduled maintenance. The message is informative, a dash accusatory, and unique in its own right. My idea behind it is simple: as an outdoor brand, LifeProof should always be encouraging its audience to get out there. With technology in tow, never inhibiting.  

Life to the Max and Forged to Go Further

These headlines hold similar meaning—encouraging the LifeProof audience to push themselves to their limits. The headline 'Life to the Max' has the clever double meaning of living one's life to the max and bringing LifeProof to Maxx 2 devices. 

Outer Space Awaits

This social media announcement incorporates the space element behind the Samsung Galaxy S6 name with a NASA sweepstakes. LifeProof is defined by finding your outer limits after all, and though outer space is not quite accessible to everyone, that shouldn't stop the dreamer in you.
